Tell us about yourself.

I grew up in Olathe, Kansas and then went to Emporia State University where I graduated with an accounting degree. I moved back to Kansas City to take a job at a Big Four accounting firm in the tax department where I prepared individual and corporation tax returns. After about 3 years in my corporate job I decided it was time to put my entrepreneurial skills to work. Because of my passion for personal finance, taxes (yes, I am a little sick in the head), number crunching, and knowledge of how mainstream America builds wealth I found the best way to help others like me was to help them find their new home. For most of us, the biggest investment we will ever make is in our home. I work with my clients to build their knowledge not just in the home buying process but how it affects their total financial life. Why did you join KC Young Professionals?

I joined KC Young Professionals to meet like minded individuals. It seems like a lot of the entrepreneurs I meet are older and don't want to talk ideas. I'm hoping to find some other people in the same situation and make some friends too!
