Tell us about yourself.

I grew up in Carthage, Missouri which is a small-ish town in Southwest Missouri, close to Joplin, MO. I went to Pittsburg State University and graduated in May 2010 with a marketing degree. Side note: I went on a study abroad trip for two weeks to South Korea the day after I graduated - If you haven't been overseas, I highly reccommend it! Life changing! I moved to Kansas City at the end of May and I now work as an Administrative Assistant with Frontiers: The Heartland Institute of Clinical and Translational Research, which is part of KU Med. I also have a 2 1/2 year old corgi named Bailey who is like my child :)


Why did you join KC Young Professionals?

I joined KC Young Professionals as a way to meet people with a similar mindset to expand my professional network but also make friends along the way!
