Tell us about yourself.

I am the Director of Youth Programs for Midwest Foster Care and Adoption Association (MFCAA). As Director, it is my job to find resources for youth ages 12 to 21 that are at-risk of aging out of the foster care system without any permanent connections. The main program that I oversee right now is our youth mentoring program with seeks to match youth in foster care with an adult in the community that will help them stabilize and prepare for adult living.

Why did you join KC Young Professionals?

It is my goal to build connections with other young professionals in the community to create contacts and resources that will better the lives of the foster youth I serve through MFCAA.
