Tell us about yourself.

As a Geospatial Analyst, created map products, databases, and platforms throughout Iraq for nearly 3 years in war. Led and trained soldiers in the 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Carson, CO for 2 ½ years. Due to knowledge and capabilities, was retained for 440 days in imminent danger areas as essential to national security. Managed an independent Geospatial team within Baghdad areas, conducting 24hour intensive GIS operations that ranged from waste water mgmt within Sadr City to flight operations. Responded to short suspense taskings with ease and professionalism under challenging and stressful conditions. Managed responsibility for over $500,000 in military equipment and did so earning the military good conduct medal along with over seven other accommodations and recognitions during military service until being Honorably Discharged. Specialties Utilizing LIDAR, DTED, LIDAR, IKONOS and other methods of satellite imagery, remote sensing, and aerial photography to extract necessary data to create, manipulate and execute record numbers of map productions and visual fly-through projects for commanders that saved the lives of thousands of troops. In doing so, earning numerous military recognitions and accommodations. Compilation of meta data utilizing ERDAS IMAGINE, ARC SUITE, ESRI, FALCONVIEW, TERRA EXPLORER, SKYVIZ, GOOGLE SKETCHUP.
