I'm an instructor with Shawnee ATA Taekwondo Black Belt Academy with a focus on teaching kids and adults alike, the benefits of a sound body and mind through Martial Arts. From my 1st class years ago, the focus at Shawnee ATA has always been the same, to provide our students with the highest quality martial arts instructions available in a safe and positive learning environment that people of all ages can enjoy. Our instructors hold titles such as 2010 State sparing, forms, and weapons champions. Our 6th degree Chief Instructor is the ATA 2009 World Weapons Champion. I’ve completed several intensive instructor programs with more than 30 years of research and development. We also specialize in Women’s Self-Defense, Ground Grappling, Weapons Defense, and Aerobic Kickboxing. We even offer a private lessons for Corporate Team Building (GREAT way to build teamwork and have fun at the same time). I’m also a member of the Kansas City Make-A-Wish foundation and look for other ways to make better our community. In addition to the ATA, I’m also an Engineer for Global Crossing with 15 years experience in Fiber Optical design and connectivity. I really enjoy what I do and believe that it shows through in my work.
