Tell us about yourself.

PROFESSIONALLY: I am the Business Development Rep for The Art Institutes campus in Lenexa, KS. I market our design and culinary degree programs to business and educational institutions to generate interest among HR personnel, employees, educators, and potential students. I research, plan, and manage recruitment events and fairs. I am responsible for developing and building rapport with local companies, community colleges, military, and community organizations. PERSONALLY: In 2005, I created The Kansas Boobtrotters. We are a group of Kansas girls who are committed to raising money to fight breast cancer. Since 2005, my journey has allowed me to raise thousands of dollars and walk hundreds of miles in my quest for the cure. I have participated in several Race for the Cure events, two Komen 3-Day/60-mile events, and I just completed my third Avon 2-Day/39-mile event in June.

Why did you join KC Young Professionals?

Networking is my life, both professionally and personally. I love meeting new people and finding out how we can work together to be successful!
