Tell us about yourself.

Recently moved to KC from Minneapolis, and from Northern Indiana before that. Graduate of both Purdue University and the University of Minnesota. Interests include live music (Pixies, Lucius, and Arcade Fire on the schedule so far for Winter/Spring 2014), running marathons (2-time finisher of Twin Cities Marathon, looking to run another one this summer/fall), attending sporting events (go Cubbies), exploring local culture, road trips, etc. Pretty much everything interests me.

Why did you join KC Young Professionals?

I moved to KC over the summer for work, which has been a very fulfilling experience. However, I've been slow to get involved in community events and efforts, partly due to a hectic work schedule and partly due to a lack of contacts in the area. I am joining KCYP in an attempt to become more familiar with KC, participate in community events, and to meet other young professionals in the area for both social and networking purposes.
