Tell us about yourself.
I am the CEO and Publisher of EA Bride Magazine. I've been in Kansas City most of my life, and am getting ready to complete my last semester of my MBA at the Bloch School of UMKC. I'm a writer at heart, and have always had a dream of owning my own business, so I launched the magazine in September of 2010, and am looking to connect with other professionals in the area.
Why did you join KC Young Professionals?
I've heard about it from several other people, and being around other like minded professionals serves as a great motivator and inspirational tool for me.

Hi Christie, The best way to know about our events is to check out the calendar and groups tabs. Join any of the groups that interest you and whenever a post is added to the subgroups wall about an event you'll get notified! We should be having a happy hour in the next couple of weeks :)
We get together weekly for happy hours all over the city. We also have a book club, dinner group, ladies night...just about anything and everything you could want! I'm trying to get an entrepreneur's group up and running but with the holidays haven't done as great as I should be. Our group is very social.....networking.
